The Heaviside Plan

Abstract

The Heaviside Plan ™ provides a way to completely replace all conventional fuels used for Space Heating, Water Heating, Cooking, Transportation, and Electric Power Generation. In this respect The Heaviside Plan ™ is superior to the Pickens Plan which replaces only about 25% of the Natural Gas used to generate electricity with wind power from windmill turbines and uses the natural gas to replace about 25% of the petroleum derived fuels used in transportation.

The Heaviside Plan ™ uses heat extracted from the active vacuum to replace the heat needed for space heating, hot water, and cooking. Heat extracted from the active vacuum is used to "fuel" heat engines for motive power in transportation and electric power generation. Alternatively, electric power can be generated by thermoelectric generators to power electric motors for transportation or homes, commercial and industrial processes.

Note that at this time The Heaviside Plan ™ is a guide for development, but if adopted The Heaviside Plan ™ can become operational based upon the "Bohren Experiment." The "Bohren Experiment" demonstrated a COP of 18 (or 1800%) with a laser and appropriate charged medium. While the "Bohren Experiment" involves electromagnetic radiation, because of the oscillating medium, it lies outside of electromagnetic theory. Thomas Bearden and Kenneth Moore were granted a Provisional Patent on a process in October 2005 that applies the "Bohren Experiment" to large electric power generating plants; see Note 1.

We propose using one or more infrared laser diode(s) with appropriate charged dielectric medium arranged in stages to achieve the required heat output desired. Part of the output heat could be used with a thermoelectric generator to produce sufficient electric power to recharge a battery that supplies power to the infrared laser diodes; this would allow all of the energy produced to be drawn from the active vacuum.

The major obstacle to implementing The Heaviside Plan ™ is the Ford paradox. Most of our scientific, engineering, and industrial community stand on the "it cannot be done" side of the Ford paradox.

Note 1: This URL downloads a Microsoft Word &trade file containing a Provisional Patent Application (PPA) for an invention that will allow the reduction of the coal burned to generate electricity to one-third of what is currently required. Further development would allow the coal comsumption to be reduced to zero. The inventors, Thomas E. Bearden and Kenneth D. Moore, released the PPA into the public domain [search for "public"]. The PPA granted to Thomas E. Bearden and Kenneth D. Moore in October 2005 is titled "Increasing the Coefficient of Performance of Electromagnetic Power Systems by Extracting and Using Excess EM Energy from the Heaviside Energy Flow Component."
