Before going on, we need to get a clear understanding of the difference between efficiency and Coefficient of Performance (COP). Now, suppose we can make a magnetic engine that has a COP of 2. This means that an electrical power input of 746 watts (1 horsepower equivalent) would produce an output of two (2) horsepower at the shaft if it was 100% efficient (i.e. no losses). If the output shaft was connected to an alternator, that would output 746 watts of electric power, a simple connection would allow an output of one (1) horsepower with zero electric power supplied from the mains. This is called closed-looping the OU device. In effect, the COP of 2 device is changed into an infinite COP device. If you ask any Electrical Engineer in the United States, whether in industry, academia, or a National Science Laboratory, about this the reply is almost certain to be "impossible." Before considering the possibility or impossibility of building an OU magnetic engine, let's consider the case of losses in the magnetic engine and/or the alternator. Electrical engineering consists of applying mathematical models to simulate the real world. As with all mathematical models, electrodynamicists made certain assumptions to simplify the model for easier solutions to electrical engineering problems. Electrical engineers generally use Maxwell's Equations which have an interesting history. We shall call this Classical ElectroMagnetics/Electrical Engineering (CEM/EE). Here is the crucial question: Is it possible to purposely violate any of the assumptions "built into" CEM/EE? If you read the history pages, you should answer an unequivocal yes! In fact, the underlying assumption of CEM/EE--an all pervading material aether, filling all space--was falsified in 1877 by the Michaelson Morley Experiment (MME). As mentioned in history not a single part of CEM/EE changed as a result of MME. As the other assumptions underlying CEM/EE were falsified one by one with the advancement of physics, CEM/EE was not changed in any way. This raises the question: What can be done that is not allowed by CEM/EE? The short answer: Build OU devices. You're probably inclined to say: "If that is true why haven't OU devices been built and marketed?" That's two questions. First, OU devices have been built and shown, by independent tests, to work. Second, the engineering development and marketing have been suppressed by one way or another. Tom Bearden has been studying in this area for some 30 years and written numerous books on various related topics. Tom's magnum opus is titled Energy from the Vacuum Principles & Concepts. You may order a copy on Tom's website where you can also find a number of different kinds of OU devices described. The mother lode of OU information is found at: The Master Principle of EM Overunity and the Japanese Overunity Engines: A New Pearl Harbor? from which most of the information in the links below was derived. |
